THESE RULES APPLY TO ALL PLAYERS ON THE SERVER. IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOUR STATUS IS OR HOW LONG YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING ON L2BURN. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN PUNISHMENT AS WE SEE FIT, RANGING FROM TEMPORARY JAIL/CHAT BAN TO PERMANENT ACCOUNT TERMINATION.
Botting & Third-Party Software: No botting, scripts, or any third-party programs (including clickers or automation software). Using family members or friends to farm while you are away is also prohibited.
Macro Farming: You are not allowed to use macros and keep the button pressed with an physical object while away from the computer. Any character found performing actions without a person actively controlling it will be punished.
Dual Boxing: You may not control two or more characters simultaneously to farm, heal, buff, or assist in PvP/Raids. The only exception is using a secondary character as a private seller in towns or for trading items between your own accounts (strictly in-town). Controlling two characters by one person, regardless of using different PCs or IPs, is a violation.
Impersonating Staff: Do not impersonate GMs, Admins, or any L2Burn Staff members. Doing so will result in an immediate and permanent ban.
PvP Farming: You are not allowed to “feed” or farm PvPs with fake characters, friends, or dual boxes.
Spamming: Excessive spam in any chat channel is forbidden.
Staff Interaction: Do not bother GMs constantly for basic game help. Do not ask for items, levels, or teleports. Use the Petition System for legitimate technical issues.
Bugs & Exploits: If you find a bug, you must report it immediately via Discord or Petition. Exploiting a bug for personal gain will result in a permanent ban.
Olympiad: Only 1 character per player is allowed to compete. Feeding points from other players or participating with alt characters/friends’ accounts is strictly forbidden.
Training Mobs: Intentionally leading (training) monsters toward other players or parties with the intent to kill them is prohibited.
Language: Hero and Shout channels are English Only.
Hero Chat Violation: 1st offense (750m chat ban); 2nd offense (1,000m chat ban); 3rd offense (Removal of Hero status and wipe of all points/matches).
Staff Relations: Constructive criticism is welcome, but flaming or disrespecting Staff members will result in immediate punishment.
Petitions: Do not use global chat to ask for recalls, party invites, or to demand a GM’s attention. Do not use it to appeal bans or ask for events.
Castle Ownership: If a clan owns a castle, they are forbidden from participating in another Castle’s Siege (including using alt clans/characters).
Registration: Only registered clans may participate in sieges. Heroes may enter the grounds even if not registered, but may not interfere with the siege mechanics unfairly.
Headquarters: You are not allowed to spawn headquarters inside walls or bugged locations.
Participation Limit: You are only allowed to participate in one major siege per weekend (e.g., Aden OR Goddard).
Fortress Mechanics: Non-registered clans may not interfere in Fortress battles. Intentional bugging of doors or flag mechanics is prohibited.
L2Burn strives to be an inclusive community. We have zero tolerance for toxic behavior that targets individuals based on their identity.
Discrimination & Hate Speech: Any form of racial, ethnic, or national origin discrimination is strictly prohibited. Hate speech against any group is a perma-ban offense.
LGBTQ+ Phobia: Homophobia, transphobia, or any slurs/attacks based on sexual orientation or gender identity will not be tolerated.
Harassment & Bullying: Targeted harassment, stalking, or persistent bullying of another player is forbidden. This includes “doxing” (releasing real-life private information about another player).
Offensive Names: Characters, Clans, or Alliances with names that are racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise highly offensive will be renamed or deleted without warning.
Toxic Trash Talking: While competitive banter is part of the game, do not target a player’s family, real-life tragedies, or use extreme obscenities. Keep the “trash talk” within the game’s competitive scope.
Account Responsibility: You are 100% responsible for your account security. We do not reimburse items lost due to account sharing, unsecure PCs, or “friends” stealing items. Staff will NEVER ask for your password.
Real Money Trading (RMT): Buying or selling items, gold, or accounts for real-world currency is strictly forbidden. Both the buyer and seller will be permanently banned.
Advertising: Advertising other servers or wanting to trade items from other servers for L2Burn items is strictly forbidden.
Since we do not utilize a traditional forum, all official information is distributed via:
News Tab (Website): Check the “News” section on our website daily for official updates, patches, and change logs.
Discord: Our primary community hub. Follow the specific channel rules (e.g., #trade, #support, #general). Avoid tagging Staff unnecessarily.
Facebook Page: Follow our official page for media, events, and announcements.
Discord Conduct: All rules regarding discrimination, hate speech, and harassment apply to our Discord server. Users violating these rules on Discord may also face in-game punishments.
Our GMs and Admins are experienced enough to identify botting, dual boxing, and rule violations. We are not required to provide “proof” to the public, though we strive for fairness. If a mistake is made, we will investigate and correct it.
L2Burn is a place for fun and competition. Play hard, play fair, and respect your fellow players.
